A standalone onboarding guide for State of Emberstone Roleplay. This page is separate from the Knowledgebase and gives new members a simple path from account creation to their first roleplay session.

Verify your account and connect
Website registration uses email and password. Your email must be verified before you can sign in. Discord and Steam are optional account connections after registration.

Create characters, build stories, join events, and begin roleplay using the currently available community systems.

Roleplay readiness checklist
Use this checklist before joining a session so your account and community expectations are in order.
First 24 Hours
Your first-day route
Step 1Create your website account and verify the confirmation email.
Step 2Join Discord, then link optional accounts from your profile.
Step 3Read the rules, roleplay standards, and support expectations.
Step 4Check the current roleplay systems and any access instructions announced by staff.
Step 5Start as a civilian and follow current staff guidance for any restricted roleplay paths.
Step 6Ask for help early if Discord or account access does not work.

Do I need special access to start?
Civilian roleplay is the easiest starting point. Some specialist roles may have additional requirements announced by staff.

Use support and include screenshots. Staff can help verify account linking, Discord identity, and access issues.
